Bio

 35 years ago it all began with a creative ideas and the desire to learn as much as possible.

So my adventure began.....

 It really dug in deep 26 years ago making award winning costumes for my children and myself all using a hot glue gun!

Then ten years ago a sewing machine came into our world! 

I began making clothing that actually fit me correctly and was finally colorful enough to fill my soul with joy.

I then discovered that my brain loved the construction of quilts, art quilts and thread painting.

Playing with paint has been a passion of mine since childhood so the exploration into silk dye was right up my alley and made my heart sing.

Then......

One view of a social media video 7 years ago and my favorite medium was born to me!

Every book I could get my hands on, every group I could join and learn from, every historical article, all the chemistry behind the process that I was able to find was melded into my life like a third arm.

I discovered that teaching others the technique and reminding them to make art was a calling I did not know was missing from my life.

I thoroughly enjoy vending and hosting events where participants are able to create their own art.
